Paganini named NJCAA Goalie of the Week

Freshman Will Paganini (Derry, NH) of the Northern Essex Community College men’s soccer team was named the NJCAA National Goalie of the Week for the week ending October 1st.

Haverhill, MA (October 4, 2023) – Freshman Will Paganini (Derry, NH) of the Northern Essex Community College men's soccer team was named the NJCAA National Goalie of the Week for the week ending October 1st.

 

For the week, Paganini picked up two wins as the Knights topped both Quinsigamond and Bristol. Against Quinsigamond he recorded his second shutout of the season in a 5-0 win and recorded three saves.

He closed out the week with a six save effort in a 6-1 victory over Bristol.

As a team, the Knights currently sit in second place in the Region 21 standings with a 3-0-1 record and 6-2-1 overall. NECC sits behind only perennial Region 21 power Bunker Hill with a 4-0 league record, the two teams will meet on October 14th in Boston.
