Yemayma Molina named NECC Volleyball coach
Northern Essex Community College Director of Athletics Dan Blair is pleased to announce the hiring of Lawrence native Yemayma Molina as head coach of the Northern Essex women’s volleyball team.
Haverhill, MA (July 31, 2025) - Northern Essex Community College Director of Athletics Dan Blair is pleased to announce the hiring of Lawrence native Yemayma Molina as head coach of the Northern Essex women's volleyball team. Her hire is effective immediately.
Molina a recent graduate of Western New England University where she was a four-year member of the Golden Bears volleyball team and a two-time Conference of New England (CNE) all-conference selection graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in criminal justice.
Prior to her time at WNEU, Molina was a four-year standout on the varsity volleyball team at Lawrence High School and also a member of the school's basketball team.
As a member of the Golden Bears, she saw action in 90 matches over four seasons, while leading the team with 77 blocks in her senior season in helping lead the team to a CNE semi-finals appearance.
"Yemayma has a great passion for and understanding of the game of volleyball. She's going to have a long and bright future as a coach and I'm thrilled she's going to be starting her collegiate coaching career with us at Northern Essex," stated Blair
In addition to her playing experience, she has two years of coaching experience with the Pioneer Valley Volleyball Club.
She currently works with Suenos basketball and volleyball in Lawrence.
