NECC opens up big lead, hangs on for win over BHCC in Region 21 opener

The Northern Essex Community College men’s basketball team opened up a 21-point halftime lead in their Region 21 opener on the road Tuesday night and hung on to move to 3-0 on the season with the 87-77 victory over the Bulldogs of Bunker Hill.

The Northern Essex Community College men’s basketball team used a strong second half shooting performance to pick up their first win in the NHTI Tap-Off Classic since an overtime win on November 3rd 2017 and open the 2022-23 campaign in the win column with an 81-69 victory over the tournament host Lynx.
