Machesterm NH - At the Ed Daniels Invitational Track & Field Meet at SNHU on Saturday, the Knights continued their strong spring campaign by adding another NJCAA automatic national qualifying mark in the men's 4x100m relay. The relay team of Milton Garcia, Teriq Goodman, Adriel Rosa Sanchez, and Aivyn Privitera clocked a time of 45.43 to finish eighth overall. With the performance, the Knights now boast seven automatic national qualifying marks this season.
The Knights also saw impressive individual efforts in the 100m, where three athletes recorded season-best times. Garcia (11.87), Goodman (11.88), and Rosa Sanchez (11.98) all turned in personal bests, with Rosa Sanchez breaking the 12-second barrier for the first time. Newcomer Don Teguia also delivered a strong showing in the event.
Goodman continued his standout day in the 200m, posting a time of 23.48 to mark a significant improvement from the previous week. In the 110m hurdles, Privitera recorded a time of 16.9, while Derick Pierre Paul placed 16th in the high jump. Ariel Suarez added a season-best performance in the 400m hurdles, finishing 14th in 1:05.68.
On the women's side, Maci Abbatessa led the way in the field events with a 10th-place finish in the shot put, recording a season-best throw of 10.78m (35'4.4"), which currently ranks second nationally in the NJCAA. On the track, Mia Ruiz improved her 200m time to 28.06, while Janelis Uviedo shaved a second off her previous 400m hurdles mark, finishing in 1:20.6. Uviedo also matched her season best in the triple jump with a leap of 9.23m (30'3.5"). Rachelle Torres contributed solid efforts in both the javelin and triple jump to round out the Knights' performances.
