Haverhill, MA (September 26, 2025) – The Northern Essex Community College women's volleyball team served up a season high 25 aces on Thursday night on their way to 3-0 sweep of Berkshire by set scores of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-17. The victory was the third straight for the Knights as they improve record to 4-3 and 4-2 in Region 21 play.

Cherly Brito Rosario (Lawrence), Santa DeLeon (Lawrence) and Faith Martin (Billerica) combined for 21 aces as they served up eight, seven and six respectively in the match.

Rosario also led the Knights with a eight kills, while Rachelle Torres (Lawrence) added five and DeLeon four.

Jiana Melendez (Lawrence) had a match high 10 digs.

The Knights will return to the court on Saturday when they travel to Bunker Hill for an 11:00am match.
