Haverhill, MA (October 5, 2025) – The Northern Essex Community College women's volleyball team completed a season sweep of MassBay on Saturday afternoon. The Knights took the match by a 3-0 final with set scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-12. The Knights got back over the .500 mark with the win and improved to 6-5 overall and 6-4 in conference play.

Cherly BritoRosario (Lawrence) led the attack with eight kills and was followed right behind by Faith Martin (Billerica) and Rachelle Torres (Lawrence) who added six kills apiece in the match.

Torres and BritoRosario each dished out 12 assists in the match while Torres also served up a match best six aces.

Santa DeLeon (Lawrence) led the Knights with nine digs.

The Knights will return to action on Thursday when they hit the road to Holyoke Community College.
