Pinehurst, NC (November 9, 2025) – The Northern Essex Community College men's basketball completed a sweep of their two game southern trip as they defeated Patrick and Henry Community College on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Sandhills Community College by a 106-88 final and in the process improved their overall record to 4-1 on the season.
The Knights never trailed in the contest and 14 different players found the scoresheet with at least two points in a game in which the Knights never trailed.
Alejandro Delgado (Haverhill) led seven scorers in double figures for NECC with a team high 14 points.
Jay'von Depina (Brockton) had his strongest game to date as he came off the bench to drop 13 points along with Alex Johnson (Worcester). Derrick Twum (Lowell) scored a career high 12 points while Christian Sanders (Boston) added 11. Cristian Moscat (Lawrence) and Johnarieus Davis (Waterbury, CT) both tossed in 10 points.
NECC went to the halftime locker room with a 12-point lead (53-41) before outscoring the Patriots 51-47 in the second half.
The Knights will return to Region 21 play on Thursday evening when they play host to Bunker Hill at 7:30pm in Sport and Fitness Center.
