Haverhill, MA (December 9, 2025) – The #7 nationally ranked Northern Essex men's basketball team won the opening tip on Tuesday evening and never looked back as they jumped out to an early lead that ballooned throughout the first half resulting in final score of 108-61. The win improved the Knights to 14-2 on the season as they improved to 8-1 in conference play.

Alejandro Delgado (Haverhill) continued his stellar play recording his second triple double of the season with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Christian Sanders (Boston) was the games high scorer with 26 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for his own double-double.

The backcourt duo of Cristian Moscat (Lawrence) and Alex Johnson (Worcester) both recorded double digits points of their own with 15 and 11.

For the game, 15 different players recorded at least one basket for the Knights.

NECC will hit the road on Saturday with first play on the line heading into the semester break as they battle Massasoit. Tip off is set for 2:00pm in Brockton.
