Maxim Chriss records pair of goals as Knights shutout NHTI, 4-0

Concord, NH (September 9, 2025) – A goal in each half from Maxim Chriss (Lexington) helped return the Northern Essex Community College men's soccer team to the win column as they defeated New Hampshire Tech by a 4-0 final and evened their record at 2-2 on the season.

Chriss staked the Knights to an early lead as he got the Knights on the board in the 8th minute of play assisted Reda Qesmi (Methuen), seven minutes later Kayky Freitas (Everett) would notch his first goal of the season as he touched a crossing pass in from Gabriel Dos Reis (Somerville) and give the NECC a 2-0 lead which would stand for the remainder of the half.

Wesdra daSilva (Gloucester) gave the visiting Knights a 3-0 advantage in the 60th minute as he send the ball into the lower right corner with an assist credits to Lucas Cantelli (Lowell) and Chriss closed out the scoring in the 70th minute as he converted a penalty kick.

Rolston Ladd (Candia, NH) made 3 saves in goal for the Knights to pick up his second win of the season.

The Knights will return to the pitch next Tuesday evening September 16th when they play host to Massasoit Community College at 7:00pm under the lights at Whittier Tech High School.
