Haverhill, MA (September 19, 2025) – The Northern Essex Community College women's volleyball team evened their Region 21 record at 2-2 on Thursday evening and improved to 2-3 overall with a straight set victory over Roxbury. Set scores were 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.

Rachelle Torres (Lawrence) and Cherly Brito Rosario (Lawrence) led the attack as both attacked at .500 for the match with Torres recording eight kills and 15 assists to go along with nine kills for Brito Rosario.

Torres and Faith Martin (Billerica) each recorded a match high six service aces and Crismary DeLeon (Lawrence) recorded six kills and a team high eight digs to provide solid play on both sides of the net.

The Knights will hit the road on Saturday as they travel to Bristol for a 1:00pm contest with the Bayhawks in Taunton.
